Start by stating what you’re going to talk about..Today I’m going to tell you why I think it’s important that we have a play area at our practice.

The aim of my presentation is for you to understand how important play is in the development and education of young children. Then talk about some Piaget and Mildred Parten’s theories of play and development: emotional, cognitive, and social development.

I hope by incorporating this play area, we can extend the education of our young children and can help them discover the world through play.

  • right begin by saying what you are goin to talk about; in your case a childs play area.. and briefly what you will discuss.

make sure you condense your writing into short bullet points i.e. no more than 4-5 words, and have a sheet of paper which corresponds to the bullet points..otherwise you will be tempted to read from the overhead or powerpoint. whatever you are doing it in.

glance at the bullet point and go into more depth, relating it back to the main point of your presentation i.e. how it will benefit the children/medical practice.

id never done presentations until i had university interviews and i had to give 5-10 minute presentations on children and stuffs, so iv got the hang of them now.

and make sure you leave time for questions, and if not you have something to say should there be no questions.

to conclude shouldnt take that long, just review what you have talked about and why it is a good idea

hope this is more what you were after! xReferences :
